I can't stress how satisfied I am. The course was well broken down into structured lessons, and the questions ensured that you learnt the material. It was fun and enjoyable as opposed to a boring and stressful course. Money well spent.

5. Support was always made available to me, and when I did need support it was extremely timely.

The flexibility I needed was reflected in Splash. I might be putting in an hour or two at an unsociable time yet I got the feeling that there was someone at Splash watching and encouraging me at the same unsociable time. The personalized help was greatly appreciated and any further information needed was always promptly given in a very friendly manner. Never felt silly for asking or like I was being too bothersome.

The Splash course suited my requirements of an on-line provider that I could access 24/7 at times that suited me. It’s an easy site to navigate and is very intuitive. It’s simple and fun and there are some great reference sites that allow you to "deep dive" into a topic well beyond the needs of the course. You can do it at your own pace which was really important to me. The homework element was really strong and the feedback from Splash was encouraging, responsive and first rate. A reply back on a Sunday afternoon after having just clicked "send" with some answers, is great customer service in my book!

I am suprised how much I am learning this way, I went through some questions in the latest RYA magazine and got most of them right! I am amazed at the Splash tutor responses - much better and faster than my wife’s expensive university course! I feel well prepared for my Helmsman course.

The flexibility to access the courses when it suited my schedule. The convenience and flexibility of being able to do the modules when I was ready.

What did you like most about about your Splash course?

One of the best things about this course was the flexibility to complete it when and where I could. It fitted in well with a busy work and home life! The level of support I received from John was excellent; always quick to reply with really clear advice and instruction, together with great encouragement!

I didn't think that distance learning would be easy, but Splash really did help make my Day Skipper Theory a success. I like the way that the course is split into easy to manage modules and that the 'My Course' page lets you see how much you have completed. The flexibility to dip in and out of modules is excellent.

I don't think there was anything I didn't like about the course.

5 - excellent throughout. Really quick responses that were clear and answered all my questions. Also a lot of good encouragement throughout.

How did you initially find out about Splash? e.g. RYA list, magazine advert.

My own website/page search (via Google). I tried a few sites and liked the look, layout and design of Splash; it seemed professional and modern (unlike some others) and gave me confidence that the course would be well run - and it didn't disappoint!

Absolutely.

Splash Sea School allowed me to start learning right away, with support and in English. Splash Sea School broke the amount of learning needed into small elements with tests and exercises to really prove to yourself that you had learned and were learning every step of the way.

Excellent - The unprompted emails of support and quick answers to any questions really help me keep motivated.
